Amélie Lamontagne, violin

Amélie Lamontagne has studied violin at the Conservatoire de musique de Val d’Or with Silviu Parlea before mastering in Violin interpretation at the University of Montreal, under the supervision of violinist Anne Robert. As a sensitive but dynamic musician, Amélie likes to be part of diverse and stimulating projects. Founder and member of the Fiestango ensemble, she has been giving tango concerts since 2005. She is also part of a musical play for children, in collaboration with Jeunesses Musicales Canada. She has performed with multiple pop and jazz artists, such as Robert Charlebois, Georges Benson et Pink Martini. Amélie is also freelance for various orchestras, and teaches at the École de musique de Verdun and Camp musical Père Lindsay.
