THE musical event of Labour Day weekend
Fête de la Musique de Tremblant
Is Back with its 23rd Edition!
Montreal, June 6, 2023 – Founder and Artistic director of the Fête de la Musique, Angèle Dubeau, announces a 23rd edition of the event from September 1 to 4 in the enchanting setting of Tremblant, with over 30 free concerts presented by an exceptional line-up of renowned local artists throughout the Labour Day weekend.
A Musical World Tour with an Exceptional Performance by Diane Juster
“It’s an event we hope will bring people together and fill them with emotion, where the tens of thousands of visitors who come to celebrate with their families will have the chance to meet our musicians and artists, who will be taking them on a real musical journey around the world,” says Angèle Dubeau. Among the musicians from all horizons on the program: Jean-Michel Blais in a quartet format will present the compositions of his most recent album Aubades while Yves Lambert, always affirming his passionate and creative “Quebecness” will offer, with the Grand Orchestre, La Grande Fête au Village, a unique concert imbued with multiple sound textures. Angèle Dubeau will of course be present, surrounded by the musicians of La Pietà with, this year, the exceptional participation of the grande dame of song, Diane Juster. Note: the full program will be unveiled in mid-August.
